Supporting Documents for Greece Schengen Visa Application

Application form: Application form can be downloaded from the website. Fill it carefully and honestly as any discrepancy will lead to rejection of visa application.

Two recent passport-sized pictures: Attach two recent passport-sized pictures with the visa application form. The requirements for pictures are as follow:

  • In colour, 3.5 x 4 cm (approx. 1.2 x 1.6 inch)
  • Facing forward, white background

Biometric Data: It is mandatory for the itinerant to apply for Greece Schengen Visa that they should submit biometric data at the nearest Visa Information Center. The biometric data includes a scan of all ten fingerprints and a face picture. Once submitted, the biometric data remains valid for a period of 5 years.

Cover Letter: Craft a succinct cover letter and attach it with your application. Avoid adding unnecessary information in the cover letter while ensuring that nothing important goes missing. No-Objection Certificate: If you are employed, submit a no-objection certificate with your application stating that your employer has no objection whatsoever for traveling to the NOC.

Leave Certificate: If you are a student, attach a leaving certificate with the document stating that your college/school/university has granted leaves so that you can visit Greece.

Appear for Interview: Appear for an interview at the embassy or one of the consulates general on the date given to you. Reach at the embassy or consulate at least 30 minutes prior to the interview time. Answer all questions honestly and don’t get confused if the visa officer poses some extra questions.

Collect Your Visa: If everything goes to the plan, collect your visa from the nearest visa application center or embassy or consulates. You have to appear in person to collect your visa.
